Help
Welcome to the PAC-12 Help and User Guide section. Browse the topics below to understand how to use the platform effectively.
Finding Media
The PAC-12 Content Portal stores a variety of media files for you to access, preview and download. Searching through the content is made easy, as PAC-12 have added enhanced and structured metadata tags to imagery and video content to make it more discoverable.
Homepage Shortcuts
The PAC-12 content poral provides a few different journeys to discover content on the Portal. These include shortcuts on the homepage which will take you to a search of all content matching the school logo.
Searching & Filtering using Keywords
As a user, you can search for more specific content. You will see a search bar on the homepage and at the top of the platform. You may search for content using keywords, such as a player's name, a location, event or date.
Once you have entered a search term, you will see a list of results matching your search. Here, you may click on a result or further narrow down your search by adding another keyword or by adding a metadata filter, like sport type or venue among the few .
Previewing Media
The PAC-12 Video Portal allows for the online preview of media files, this means that you can view a low-resolution, web-friendly version of content in the portal before deciding to download broadcast or digital files. See the download section for more information on file types
Record Page & Information
Each piece of media held in the Video Portal is attached to a Record entry, which features the additional information attached to the media file. It is this information (metadata) that is searched through when browsing the platform. You may see additional information alongside an image or video, in the form of annotations. Download for PC Download for Mac
*To install AFD on your device, you will need to have administrator privileges.
2. Link your PAC-12 Video Portal Account
Launch the AFD App, and follow the first time setup instructions. When prompted for a site address, enter https://mlb.imagencloud.com and the App will then ask you to log into the App using your MLB Video Portal Account Details.

3. Linking A Second Machine to Your Account
Simply repeat steps 1 & 2 on another Desktop or Laptop Computer, and specify a different user-friendly name to differentiate the machines.
4. Linking A Second Account on a Single Machine with AFD
You may link multiple user accounts to a single AFD destination. To add another user account to an already configured AFD setup, click on the Sites option in the left hand column and select the Add a site option to connect another User's MLB Video Portal account. They will need to provide their passwrd as you configure their account.
Downloading Using AFD
